WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
This is your team, provide motivation, support and leadership to maintain project momentum. You are part of a wider with the skills and resources to solve issues and plan the implementation. The Venues and Field of Play are the heart of our Client's Major Sporting Event and we are all focused to execute the plan, but the scope starts with your team.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Wayfinding Managers Lead – Competition & Non-Competition.
- Complete the scoping and final verification of the scope of works on assigned venues – applying agreed Wayfinding KOP and strategy principles agreed with our Client
- Specification of the materials, methodology and other requirements to install the Wayfinding items
- Then take the details forward to oversee the production, installation and removal of all Wayfinding elements in the venue (s) allocated.

Working closely with our Client to capture all requests and subsequently update the database for production.
- Coordination with the procurement, production and operations team as well as the central team (reporting).
- Create close working relationships with client personnel in each venue to facility project requirements
- Provision of all details to the operations team (to book crews, equipment and deliveries)
- Working alongside the program manager to manage the resourcing and tasking of the core PM team.
- Apply practical solutions to problems that arise.
- Input data onto Quest and other IT systems.
- Input data into the designated Wayfinding system nominated by our Client for use for their Major Sporting Events – including dot planning and key message schedule information. Will need to understand or be willing to pick up wayfinding strategy and terminology
- Management of client expectations through clear communication and co-ordination: creating presentations and documents for the client.

- Support the Social and Sustainability manage to engage our team in our social purpose ambitions and the second life and legacy of the Look of the Games
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management processes and procedures.
- Good working knowledge of site operations and brand opportunities (how to get things done).
- Prior Wayfinding experience highly desirable.
- Understand material types and purposes (what works where)
- Direct work experience in a project management capacity or equivalent.
- Experience in the operational planning, organisation and problem solving with great attention to detail in multi-sport international events.
- Excellent communication and team building skills.
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Creative thinker able to problem solve and provide innovative solutions to client briefs.
- Ability to prioritize and think logically and methodically.
- A “hands on” “can do” attitude with an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially in Microsoft Excel & PPT) and Smartsheet proficiency.
- Ability to work in databases (you will be trained in Quest).
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite will be highly valued.
- Ability and willingness to relocate full time in USA for the duration of the project
