Job Description


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING


The Warehouse Coordinator works cross-functionally with departments to plan and prepare space and asset needs for projects. This position will assist in managing the day-to-day tasks to ensure timelines are met within the operational flow of projects. In addition, the Warehouse Coordinator will coordinate the shipping and receiving of items and ensure quality control by taking preventative maintenance measures of assets.



This role requires the ability to work non-business hours (evening and weekends) as needed.



Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with manager to coordinate warehouse operations, ensure proper space distribution, and short and long-term planning
  • In collaboration with manager, coordinate and schedule all warehouse needs (labor, tasks needed for events, POS, etc.)
  • Manage part-time warehouse staff with direction from manager to assign daily tasks, schedules, and address performance as needed.
  • Ensure assets are prepped, categorized correctly, and restored properly
  • Work with manager to manage warehouse inventory and provide update on assets
  • Coordinate loading and unloading of Wasserman equipment for jobs and assign bays accordingly
  • Coordinate with staff to ensure inventory is properly shipped and received in a timely manner
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the warehouse
  • Recommend efficiencies and modifications to the warehouse
  • Assist in providing direction to warehouse staff as needed
  • Act as liaison between departments as needed to ensure proper preshow prep and restore of each job
  • Responsible for purchasing expendable materials and consumables (gaff tape, zip ties, etc.) as needed
  • Address warehouse problems and evaluate options and implement solutions with guidance from manager
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager


THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED


  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehouse operations
  • Working knowledge in live event production and equipment
  • Working knowledge of electronic and mechanical repair techniques
  • Ability to supervise a crew of 1-10 people
  • Knowledge of inventory control systems (such as Flex) a plus
  • Ability to obtain DOT medical card and drive 26’ box truck and pickup/trailer combo
  • Strong organizational skills, effective communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Complex problem-solving skills


Work Environment:


This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
