We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager for Culinary Events. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of the UK and international restaurant scenes, including chefs, restaurants, and culinary events. They will be responsible for curating and programming across our portfolio, guided by the VP of Culinary.  



Key Responsibilities: 



Curation and Programming: 


  • Develop and manage culinary event programs across the portfolio, ensuring a diverse and engaging mix of talent and experiences. 
  • Collaborate with the VP of Culinary to align event themes and content with the company’s strategic vision. 
  • Identify and recruit chefs and culinary talent for events, ensuring a mix of local and international representation. 

Budget and Financial Management: 


  • Support on talent event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial viability. 
  • Oversee payment and invoicing processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. 


Administrative Duties: 


  • Handle contracting and payment arrangements with vendors and talent. 
  • Liaise with talent for event logistics, including travel arrangements – such as flight bookings, visas and hotels for talent and staff. 
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and hottest restaurants and chefs.  
  • Obtain and manage talent assets, such as bios, photos, and promotional materials. 

Vendor and Talent Relations: 


  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and talent, ensuring smooth event execution and fostering long-term partnerships. 
  • Act as a point of contact for talent, addressing their needs and ensuring their experience is positive and rewarding. 


You Will Have The Following Strengths:



  • Strong knowledge of the UK and international restaurant scenes, including key players and trends. 
  • Proven experience in event management is a plus, particularly in the culinary or hospitality sector. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Passion for the restaurant industry and a keen eye for emerging culinary trends.
