WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING



Wasserman are looking for an Enthusiastic, Self-motivated Finance Assistant to support our Shared Service Centre. The role will be based in Orpington and the successful candidate should have previous experience within Accounting, preferably AAT Qualified.



Specific responsibilities



·Full responsibility of group cashflow reporting.

·Oversee all bank accounts and ensure items are cleared prior to month end.

·Review all petty cash receipts, ensure they are in line with policy and post to relevant expense code.

·Bank administration (Supplier approvals).

·Manage Intercompany reconciliation and support AP team with settlements.

·Manage Fixed Assets.

·Fixed Assets WIP capital assets accounts.

·Prepaid Amortisation Schedule.

·Month end reconciliation – Prepare and submit in line with month end timelines.

·Direct debit suspense.

·Credit card reconciliation.

·Stakeholder management.

·Maintain and support continuous improvement programme


THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED


We are looking for a proactive candidate who is willing to challenge process and drive change where required. You must have strong experience of bank and cash reconciliations, cash flow reporting and balance sheet reconciliations. You will also have:

·Advanced excel skills.
·High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
·Part qualified or qualified by experience, minimum 5 years.
·Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
·Excellent organisational skills with the ability to follow through on multiple tasks at any one time.
·Ability to resolve issues on a timely basis.
·Experience of stake holder management at senior level
